It is important for our chidren to learn scripture at a youg age. In Psalm 119:105 (NIV), we learn that "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path," and we want our children to carry God's word with them throughout their lives. We are encouraging our chidlren in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade to memorize a verse(s) or Bible truth each month. Please help your child learn the verse for her grade level, and encourage her to recite it to Susie, Lisa, Andrea, or any of their teachers. We would like to display the names of the kids who have memorized their verse for the month.
